Joseph Story House
Salem, MA

Built in 1811 for Supreme Court Justice Joseph Story, this landmark Salem home provided us more than two centuries of history to draw from. Each space tells a piece of its story, from an office reimagined in honor of Story and a Harvard Law–inspired kids’ lounge celebrating the man known as the “Father of Harvard Law,” to a garden-inspired billiard room featuring historic imagery of nearby Salem Willows. The result is a stay where guests don’t simply experience a historic home, they discover its story room by room.
